Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients presenting to the OBG department, OPD, emergency, labour room, and inpatient units.
- Conduct initial evaluation, history taking, clinical examination, and preparation of appropriate management plans under consultant guidance.
- Monitor antenatal and postnatal patients and identify high-risk cases requiring consultant intervention.
- Manage labour-room patients and assist with normal and complicated deliveries as per hospital protocols.
- Respond promptly to obstetric and gynaecological emergencies.
- Assist consultants during Caesarean sections, gynaecological procedures, and other operative interventions.
- Perform procedures within the scope of training, competence, and hospital privileges.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation, case sheets, discharge summaries, and medical records.
- Coordinate investigations and communicate clinically relevant findings to consultants.
- Participate in ward rounds, handovers, emergency calls, and on-call duties.
- Counsel patients and relatives regarding treatment plans, procedures, and clinical progress under appropriate supervision.
- Ensure compliance with infection-control practices, patient-safety standards, and hospital policies.
- Coordinate effectively with nursing, laboratory, radiology, anaesthesia, NICU, and other departments.
- Participate in academic activities, case discussions, audits, and clinical meetings as required.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
- MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology or relevant postgraduate qualification, as applicable to the position.
- Valid medical registration with the relevant medical council.
- Prior experience in an OBG department/residency is preferred.
- Candidates should be willing to work in rotational shifts and participate in emergency/on-call duties.

Working Conditions
- Full-time hospital-based position.
- Rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Participation in emergency and on-call duties as per departmental roster.
Pay: ₹160,000.00 - ₹170,000.00 per month
