Job Description – Godown Supervisor

The Godown Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth functioning of the godown, including:

- Receiving, checking and properly storing pipes, wires and related materials.
- Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels.
- Supervising loading and unloading of goods and ensuring protected handling of materials.
- Preparing and coordinating dispatches as per orders/instructions.
- Regularly checking physical stock and reporting shortages, damages or discrepancies.
- Maintaining proper arrangement, cleanliness and safety of the godown.
- Supervising helpers and labourers and allocating daily work.




- Coordinating with the office, sales team, transporters and customers regarding deliveries and dispatches.
- Ensuring that goods are properly packed, protected and dispatched on time.
- Maintaining basic records of inward and outward movement of stock.
- Taking responsibility for the security and proper upkeep of the godown and materials.

Experience: Prior experience in a godown/warehouse, preferably in pipes, wires, electrical or building-material products, would be an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
