About the Role

DearOne Jewels is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor & Product Photographer to join our team.

The role involves photographing gold and silver jewellery and products, shooting videos, editing product images for our website, and creating engaging visual content for social media and marketing.

We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of jewellery/product photography, camera angles, lighting positions, reflections, composition and professional photo and video editing, along with knowledge of modern AI tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct skilled photoshoots for gold and silver jewellery and products
- Photograph jewellery for our website, catalogues, social media and marketing
- Plan product positioning and select suitable camera angles for different jewellery designs
- Set up and adjust lighting positions to achieve the right highlights, shadows and reflections
- Understand how lighting affects gold, silver, gemstones and polished surfaces
- Capture accurate metal colour, finish, texture and jewellery details
- Handle close-up and macro jewellery photography
- Shoot product videos, reels and short-form social media content
- Edit and professionally retouch jewellery product photographs
- Perform colour correction, background removal, image cleanup and detailed retouching
- Edit product videos, reels and other digital content
- Prepare high-quality website-ready product images in the required formats and dimensions




- Maintain consistency in image quality, colour and visual presentation
- Suggest creative photography and video concepts for jewellery products
- Use AI tools to improve photography, image editing and video production
- Work closely with the jewellery and marketing team to create content according to brand requirements

Photography Skills Required

Strong knowledge of:

- Gold jewellery photography
- Silver jewellery photography
- Gold and silver product photography
- Product photography
- Camera settings and lens selection
- Camera angles and product positioning
- Macro photography
- Focus and depth of field
- Lighting positions and lighting setups
- Reflections and highlights on gold, silver and polished surfaces
- Shadow control
- Background and surface selection
- Composition and framing
- Colour accuracy and product detailing

Photo & Video Editing Software

Candidates should have good working knowledge of:

- Adobe Photoshop – Jewellery retouching, colour correction, background editing and image enhancement
- Adobe Premiere Pro – Professional video editing and product videos
- CapCut – Reels and short-form social media content
- Adobe Illustrator – Basic creative design and artwork
- DaVinci Resolve – Video editing and colour grading

AI Skills

Knowledge of AI-based photography,



image and video tools will be an added advantage.

Experience with:

- AI image enhancement
- AI background removal and generation
- AI-assisted product image editing
- Image retouching
- AI video tools
- Video enhancement
- AI-assisted content creation
- Using AI to improve the photography and editing workflow

Requirements

- 2–5 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in gold jewellery, silver jewellery, fashion, luxury products or commercial product photography is preferred
- Strong understanding of photography, lighting and camera positioning
- Good knowledge of photographing reflective surfaces such as gold and silver
- Strong photo and video editing skills
- Ability to independently handle a shoot from setup through final editing
- Professional camera and photography equipment experience
- Strong creative sense and attention to detail
- Ability to work according to deadlines
- Must be comfortable working onsite in Coimbatore
- Portfolio / previous work samples are required

Salary

Salary will be discussed based on experience, technical skills, portfolio and overall expertise.
