Plant Head

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Plant Head to lead overall plant operations, production, quality, maintenance, PPC, safety, and manpower management. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in automotive/auto component manufacturing and a proven track record of managing plant performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage overall plant operations to achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
- Lead Production, Quality, Maintenance, PPC, Stores, and other plant functions.
- Ensure smooth production planning and optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
- Drive productivity improvement, cost reduction, and operational excellence.
- Monitor plant KPIs, OEE, rejection, downtime, productivity, and on-time delivery.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO, safety, statutory, and customer requirements.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and senior management for operational requirements.




- Develop and manage plant budgets and control operating costs.
- Ensure timely resolution of production and quality issues.
- Build and mentor the plant team and ensure effective manpower planning.

Candidate Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering; MBA/PG qualification preferred.
- 12–20 years of experience, with significant experience in automotive/auto components manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of production, quality, PPC, maintenance, and plant operations.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement.
- Solid leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Candidates with experience handling complete plant operations will be preferred.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
