- Manage assigned customer accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding dues. Contact customers through phone calls, field visits, and other approved communication channels for payment follow-ups. Achieve monthly and quarterly collection/recovery targets. Understand customer payment issues and negotiate suitable repayment solutions within company policies. Maintain regular follow-ups on overdue and delinquent accounts. Ensure accurate and timely updating of collection activities, customer interactions, and payment status in the system. Conduct field visits, wherever required, for customer follow-up and payment collection. Identify high-risk or difficult-to-collect accounts and escalate them to the reporting manager. Coordinate with internal teams such as Operations, Credit, Customer Service,
and Legal for resolution of collection-related issues. Maintain qualified relationships with customers while handling difficult or sensitive situations. Ensure all collection activities are conducted ethically and in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and company policies. Prepare and share regular collection reports and daily activity updates with the reporting manager.• 1–4 years of relevant experience in collections/recovery in an NBFC, bank, fintech, microfinance, lending, or financial services company.
