Performance Testing Engineer

We are seeking a Performance Test Engineer to join OUTSCALE PCS team. The Performance Test Engineer will have a strong understanding of performance testing, load testing, and stress testing to ensure that applications meet the required performance standards. The candidate will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to identify performance bottlenecks, review performance results and provide detailed analysis with relevant logs. Additionally, he/she will be responsible to build efficient tools to improve overall efficiency in the execution of PCS tasks and deliver high-quality software.
Role Description & Responsibilities:
- Design and Execution of Performance Capacity and Scalability Tests through Automation.
- Create test scripts and data to simulate a range of user scenarios, and ensure realistic load testing.
- Analyze performance test results and generate detailed reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Use profiling tools to detect and analyze performance issues related to memory usage, CPU consumption, database queries, and response times.
- Use industry-standard performance testing tools such as JMeter
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (Preferred)/ Any.
- Looking for 2-5 Years of working experience
- Strong analytical/problem-solving/troubleshooting skills to interpret challenges in execution process and propose solutions/tools to improve upon those challenges
- Strong knowledge & proven experience of performance testing principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency with performance testing tools and UI Automation tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, Selenium.).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Groovy, Python).
- Understanding of web technologies and protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, APIs, etc.).
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.
