We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Production Engineer to support our manufacturing and operations team. The incumbent will assist in material procurement, equipment maintenance coordination, and fabrication supervision to ensure smooth factory operations and quality compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Material Procurement

- Source materials from existing approved vendors based on project and production requirements.
- Obtain and compare quotations and coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, delivery schedules, and follow-ups.
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and developing new vendors as required.
- Monitor material availability and highlight potential delays or shortages to the concerned team.
- Check materials to match quality standards

2. Equipment Maintenance

- Conduct weekly inspections and basic condition checks of factory equipment and machinery.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel, service providers, and external agencies for equipment repairs, servicing, and replacement.
- Report equipment issues and assist in maintaining preventive maintenance and breakdown records.
- Support implementation of routine maintenance schedules and ensure timely follow-up on pending maintenance activities.

3. Fabrication Supervision

- Supervise fabrication activities to ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and production requirements.
- Perform dimensional inspections of fabricated components using appropriate measuring instruments.
- Inspect fabricated jobs for dimensional accuracy, workmanship, and conformity with engineering drawings.




- Coordinate with fabrication personnel to resolve quality or dimensional issues.
- Monitor fabrication progress and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely completion of jobs.
- Prepare, update, and maintain job cards, inspection records, and related production documentation.
- Identify deviations from drawings or specifications and escalate them to the engineering/management team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 1–2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, production, procurement, or factory operations.
- Experience in a mechanical manufacturing/fabrication environment will be preferred.
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments and dimensional inspection techniques.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and basic reporting tools.
- Good organisational and documentation skills.
- Strong vendor coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage priorities.
- Robust problem-solving and practical troubleshooting abilities.
- Willingness to work in a factory/production environment.

Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
