Futurewagon brings together consumer brands including Alicia Souza, Happy Wagon, Humanhood and Sky Goodies. Our Printwagon business helps creative brands turn ideas into finished products through product development, sourcing, manufacturing coordination and export fulfilment.

We are looking for a procurement professional who understands how factories work and can turn a product brief into the right supplier, a sound costing and a reliable production plan. You will strengthen our sourcing capabilities across consumer products and support Printwagon’s export business.

If you have developed vendors, negotiated directly with manufacturers and taken products from sample to bulk production, this is an opportunity to put that experience to work across a varied product portfolio.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

- Identify, evaluate and develop manufacturers for relevant categories such as textiles, bags and accessories, home décor, hard goods, stationery, gifting and packaging.

- Translate product briefs into explicit specifications, material requirements, sample plans and requests for quotation, working with design and product teams.

- Compare supplier quotations and cost breakdowns; negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities, tooling costs, payment terms and lead times while protecting quality.

- Coordinate sampling, revisions and approvals,



and ensure bulk production follows approved specifications and reference samples.

- Manage purchase orders and production milestones; flag delays early and resolve material, capacity and delivery issues with factories.

- Work with quality teams and suppliers on inspections, defects, corrective actions and consistent product standards.

- Coordinate with logistics and export teams on packaging, labelling, shipment readiness and buyer requirements.

- Build practical procurement tools: supplier databases, costing sheets, order trackers, vendor scorecards and alternative supplier plans.

- Bring new sourcing options and manufacturing knowledge into the team, and share better ways of working.

WHAT YOU BRING

- 5–8 years of relevant procurement, sourcing, vendor development or merchandising experience with a factory, manufacturer, consumer brand, export house or buying house.

- Strong hands-on experience in at least one relevant category: textiles/soft goods, hard goods, home and lifestyle products, accessories, stationery or gifting. Experience across multiple categories is a plus.

- Direct experience working with factories on materials, manufacturing processes, costing, sampling, quality and delivery.





- Evidence of results: suppliers developed, costs improved, lead times reduced or quality problems resolved.

- Strong negotiation, Excel/Google Sheets and order-tracking skills, with clear written and verbal communication.

- The ability to manage multiple products and vendors, make practical trade-offs and take ownership through delivery.

Existing supplier relationships, export or private-label experience, and familiarity with factory assessments and product testing will be valuable additions.
