POSITION SUMMARY: Manufacturing Process Engineer

· Provide technical leadership for the production team. Responsibilities include providing documentation and floor support associated with safety, manufacturing and quality methods, tooling, and equipment.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Drive improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues, developing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production
- Work with Production Engineers to resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design.
- Work with team and prepare/release process documents,SOP,Saftey instructions, Control plan,PFMEA and WI
- Participate in recent product introductions through process layout, tool development, and new equipment.
- Lead Compliance, as well as Environmental, Health & Safety efforts in support of plant goals
- Responsible for a systematic approach to problem solving by applying tools as 5×Why, PFMEA, etc.
- Train team members on new process(Line leaders and Production supervisors)
- Driving LEAN manufacturing implementation and maintaining 5S in shop floor




- On time support to build internal qualification and customer qualification samples
- Critical spares maintenance and PM support to avoid BD
- Any other responsibilities that the Management may entrust from time to time

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED

Education

· BTech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

· Production/Manufacturing Engineering background with 5-6 years of experience

Skills

· Technical experience of Process Engineering, writing manufacturing work instructions, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing

· Experience in working with an ERP

· IT Skills: MS office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Language Skills: Proficient in English language.

· Good documentation, communication and interpersonal relationship skills.

· Ability to learn & teach new technology and methods.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
