- Prepare and verify:

- Tube sheet design (fixed, floating, U-tube)
- Channel, heads, and nozzle reinforcement calculations
- Ensure compliance with design pressure, temperature, corrosion allowance, and loads
2. Drawing Preparation & Checking
- Review and check:
- General Arrangement (GA) drawings
- Fabrication drawings
- Nozzle orientation and BOM
- Ensure drawings comply with:
- Approved design calculations
- Client specifications
- Manufacturing feasibility
- Guide draftsmen and resolve drawing discrepancies
3. Code Compliance & Documentation
- Prepare and review:
- Mechanical design calculation reports
- Design datasheets
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Ensure all documents meet:
- Client requirements
- Internal QA/QC procedures
4. U-Stamp (ASME) Compliance & Audit Support
- Work in compliance with ASME U Stamp requirements
- Participate in:
- U-Stamp audits and joint reviews
- Documentation verification during audits
- Ensure design packages meet requirements of:
- ASME Authorized Inspector (AI)
- Maintain proper design records for certification
5. Interdepartmental Coordination
- Coordinate with:
- Production team for manufacturability
- QA/QC for inspection requirements
- Procurement for material specifications
- Address shop queries and resolve design-related issues
6. Design Optimization
- Optimize designs for:
- Material efficiency
- Ease of fabrication
- Cost-effectiveness
- Support estimation team with mechanical inputs
