Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

- Oversee day-to-day operations of the hospital’s Operation Theatre (OT).

- Assist the General Manager in all OT-related tasks.

- Supervise, direct, and coordinate all functions and activities within the OT.

- Ensure proper inter-departmental coordination to maintain smooth OT functioning.

- Resolve operational issues in coordination with department heads, including staffing, equipment, supplies, and space utilization.

Performance Monitoring & Quality Assurance

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) of the OT regularly.

- Conduct surgery delay analysis and implement preventive measures.

- Submit periodic reports on system quality and departmental performance.

Billing & Inventory Supervision

- Supervise the OT billing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.





- Ensure store supplies follow a strict system of material management.

- Oversee proper documentation and reporting related to material movement and usage.

- Identify material utilization patterns and implement cost-effective measures.

Staff Management & Training

- Educate OT staff about hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

- Organize communication meetings within the department to collect staff feedback and address operational challenges.

Customer Service & Feedback

- Handle patient/customer grievances promptly and professionally.

- Monitor and act upon customer feedback to enhance OT service quality.
