About the Role

D’LIFE Home Interiors is looking for a Project Engineer – Interior to manage and supervise residential interior project execution. The ideal candidate should have strong site-execution knowledge, good coordination skills, and the ability to ensure projects are completed on time with required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day execution of residential interior projects from site commencement to handover.
- Study and understand work orders, drawings, BOQ, measurements, and project requirements.
- Supervise carpentry, modular furniture installation, civil, electrical, plumbing, painting, and other interior works.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Interior Designers, carpenters, installers, vendors, contractors, and clients.
- Conduct site measurements and verify site conditions before execution.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion as per the project schedule.
- Verify materials received at site against the work order and material checklist.
- Plan and coordinate material requirements, dispatches, deliveries, and installation activities.
- Ensure execution is as per approved drawings, designs, specifications, and D’LIFE quality standards.
- Identify site-related issues and coordinate with the concerned teams for timely resolution.
- Conduct regular site inspections and maintain proper site documentation and progress reports.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety, and discipline at project sites.




- Coordinate snag rectification and ensure timely completion of pending works.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and provide project updates.
- Support final inspection and ensure smooth project handover.

Requirements

- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Experience: 1–5 years in residential interiors, interior fit-out, construction, or site execution.
- Good knowledge of residential interior execution and modular furniture.
- Ability to read and understand 2D drawings, BOQ, measurements, and specifications.
- Knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, civil, and other interior works.
- Good communication, coordination, and client-handling skills.
- Strong problem-solving and site-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and meet project deadlines.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred/mandatory based on project requirement.
