Job Summary

An experienced Senior Citrix Engineer to lead the design, implementation, optimization, and support of enterprise Citrix environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD), Citrix Cloud, NetScaler/ADC, VMware, Microsoft technologies, and VDI infrastructure. This role requires strong technical leadership, architecture experience, and the ability to drive strategic end-user computing initiatives while ensuring high availability, security, and performance of Citrix services.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Citrix Architecture & Engineering • Design, deploy, and manage large-scale Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) environments. • Lead Citrix infrastructure modernization, migration, and transformation projects. • Architect and support Citrix Cloud deployments and hybrid Citrix solutions. • Design highly available and disaster recovery-enabled Citrix environments. • Lead upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management of Citrix components. Infrastructure Management • Administer and support: o Citrix Delivery Controllers o StoreFront o Citrix Workspace o Citrix Director o Citrix Cloud Connectors o Citrix Licensing o Citrix Gateway (NetScaler/ADC) • Manage VDI infrastructure hosted on VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, Azure, or AWS platforms. • Develop capacity planning and performance optimization strategies. Security & Compliance • Implement Citrix security best practices and Zero Trust principles. • Design secure remote access solutions using Citrix Gateway and MFA integrations. • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory security standards.



• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation initiatives. Automation & Optimization • Develop automation solutions using PowerShell and scripting technologies. • Standardize operational processes and reduce manual administration efforts. • Optimize user login performance, application delivery, and resource utilization. • Implement monitoring and proactive alerting solutions. Incident & Problem Management • Act as the highest level of technical escalation for Citrix-related incidents. • Perform complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis. • Lead resolution of critical production outages and infrastructure issues. • Collaborate with Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, and other vendors for issue resolution. Leadership & Collaboration • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and administrators. • Participate in infrastructure strategy, roadmap planning, and technology evaluations. • Work closely with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, Network, and Application teams. • Create and maintain architecture documentation, operational procedures, and technical standards.

Other Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline. • 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise Citrix environments. • 5+ years of experience designing and implementing Citrix solutions. • Extensive hands-on experience with: o Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) o Citrix Cloud o Citrix DaaS o Citrix Gateway (NetScaler ADC) o StoreFront o Director o Workspace Environment Management (WEM) o Citrix User Profile Management (UPM)
