Job Summary

Yanvior Technologies is looking for a Quality Engineer with experience in shaft components and precision engineering/manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for quality inspection, NPD documentation, gauge handling, CMM inspection, visual inspection, and plating-related quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform in-process and final inspection of shaft components and precision-machined parts.
- Handle and maintain gauges and measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, etc.
- Perform CMM inspection and measurement as per engineering drawings and customer specifications.
- Conduct visual inspection to identify dimensional, machining, surface, and finishing defects.
- Prepare and maintain NPD quality documentation, including inspection reports, dimensional reports, and quality records.
- Support New Product Development (NPD) activities from prototype to production.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, GD&T;, and specifications.
- Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, NCR, and CAPA activities.
- Ensure proper usage, maintenance, and calibration of gauges and measuring instruments.
- Verify components against approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.




- Monitor plating and surface finishing requirements and inspect plated components for quality and appearance.
- Maintain quality records and support internal and customer audits.

Required Skills

- Experience in shaft components and precision-machined components.
- Hands-on experience in CMM handling and inspection.
- Good knowledge of gauges and measuring instruments.
- Experience in NPD documentation and quality processes.
- Strong visual inspection and defect identification skills.
- Knowledge of plating processes and surface-finish inspection.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T;.
- Valuable analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office / Excel.

Preferred Background

Candidates with experience in automotive, precision machining, shafts, transmission components, CNC machining, or similar engineering manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Experience in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and SPC will be an added advantage.

Education

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
