Job Purpose

To supervise and manage housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and proper maintenance of all assigned areas as per hospital standards and infection-control requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise housekeeping staff and allocate daily duties and work areas.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of patient areas, corridors, OPD, offices, washrooms, and other hospital premises.
- Monitor housekeeping staff attendance, grooming, discipline, and performance.
- Ensure proper use, storage, and availability of cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment.
- Coordinate with nursing, administration, infection control, and other departments for housekeeping requirements.
- Ensure proper biomedical/general waste segregation and disposal as per hospital protocols.
- Conduct regular rounds and identify cleanliness or maintenance-related issues.
- Ensure timely resolution of complaints related to housekeeping services.
- Train staff on cleaning procedures, safety practices, infection control,



and use of PPE.
- Maintain housekeeping checklists, records, stock registers, and other required documentation.
- Monitor pest control, deep cleaning, and periodic cleaning activities.
- Report incidents, shortages, damages, and operational issues to the reporting manager.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, SOPs, NABH standards, and safety requirements.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
