Super Plastics is looking for a Quality Engineer for our rubber and plastic component manufacturing facility in Chandigarh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming, in-process and final quality inspection
- Monitor shop-floor quality and process parameters
- Prepare and maintain PPAP, PFMEA and Control Plans
- Handle customer complaints, 8D, CAPA and Root Cause Analysis
- Monitor rejection and take corrective/preventive actions
- Work with SPC, MSA and 7 QC Tools
- Maintain ISO 9001:2015 quality records and documentation
- Conduct/support internal, process and customer audits
- Ensure proper use of measuring and inspection instruments
- Coordinate with Production for continuous quality improvement
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of manufacturing quality experience
- Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production or relevant field
- Practical knowledge of PPAP and PFMEA is mandatory
- Knowledge of APQP, Control Plan, 8D, CAPA, SPC and MSA
- Experience in rubber, plastics, automotive components, moulding, extrusion or similar manufacturing preferred
- Hands-on shop-floor quality experience required
Salary: ₹25,000–₹35,000 per month
