Accountant – Real Estate

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities for a real estate/construction business. The ideal candidate should have 8–10 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in real estate, construction, or a similar industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Maintain purchase, sales, receipts, payments, journal, and ledger entries.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting requirements.
- Prepare bank reconciliation and party/vendor/customer reconciliation.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain project-wise and company-wise accounts.
- Prepare monthly accounting reports and outstanding statements.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, vendors, customers, and banks.
- Assist in preparation of financial statements and other management reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of accounting records and supporting documents.
- Monitor collections, payments, expenses, and outstanding balances.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate in B.Com / M.Com or equivalent.
- 8–10 years of accounting experience.




- Experience in real estate/construction is preferred.
- Robust knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of GST and TDS.
- Experience with bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and finalization support.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple accounting activities.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates who have handled complete accounts independently and have experience with real estate/construction accounting, GST, TDS, Tally, reconciliation, and finalization support will be preferred.

Salary

₹25,000 – ₹32,000 per month, depending on experience, skills, and interview performance.
