Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Microbiology to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) manufacturing, pharmaceutical microbiology, GMP compliance and regulatory audits.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day activities of the Microbiology/QC laboratory.
- Handle microbiological testing including Environmental Monitoring, MLT, BET, bioburden, water testing and microbial analysis.
- Manage microbiology laboratory qualification, validation and equipment qualification.
- Handle OOS/OOT, deviations, CAPA, change controls and investigations.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP and Data Integrity requirements.
- Support contamination control and microbiological risk assessment activities.
- Prepare and review SOPs, protocols, reports and other microbiology documentation.
- Handle regulatory inspections,



customer audits and compliance activities.
- Train and mentor microbiology team members.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Mandatory Requirements

- 9–15 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Microbiology/QC Microbiology.
- Current experience in OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) manufacturing/facility is mandatory.
- Experience with tablets/capsules and OSD microbiology operations.
- M.Sc. Microbiology or equivalent qualification.
- Exposure to at least one of the following regulatory standards: EU GMP, USFDA, WHO GMP, PIC/S or MHRA. EU GMP exposure preferred.
- Robust experience in GMP, Environmental Monitoring, microbiological testing, investigations and QMS.
- Candidates currently based in Gujarat will be preferred.
