Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the fabrication and manufacturing of pressure and non-pressure boiler components, structural components, and beams for Supercritical, Subcritical, Biomass and CFB Boilers. The role requires strong shop-floor execution capabilities, knowledge of fabrication and welding processes, effective workforce management, and a strong focus on safety, quality, productivity and continuous improvement.Oversee fabrication of pressure and non-pressure components,



structures and beams for Supercritical, Subcritical, Biomass and CFB boilers. Supervise unionized and contract workforce to achieve production targets while ensuring Safety, Quality (First-Time Right), 5S and productivity. Robust knowledge of structural fabrication, welding processes SMAW, GMAW, GTAW and FCAW, welding defects, bending, distortion correction and plasma cutting. Coordinate with Quality, Welding, Outsourcing and other service departments for smooth manufacturing execution. Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen, with working proficiency in SAP and general computer applications.
