Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible HR Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations across office and manufacturing units. The candidate will be responsible for manpower planning, Hindi-speaking worker allocation, attendance, payroll coordination, employee relations, vehicle management, recruitment, and general HR administration.

The candidate must have good knowledge of Hindi and be capable of communicating effectively with Hindi-speaking workers, supervisors, and other employees.

Key Responsibilities

Manpower & Worker Allocation

- Plan and allocate manpower according to daily production and operational requirements.
- Handle allocation and deployment of Hindi-speaking workers across different departments and production units.
- Coordinate with production supervisors and department heads regarding manpower requirements.
- Monitor worker attendance, availability, absenteeism, and replacement requirements.
- Maintain proper records of worker allocation and deployment.
- Ensure adequate manpower availability during shifts and peak production periods.
- Coordinate the movement of workers between departments based on operational requirements.

Hindi Communication & Worker Management

- Communicate effectively with Hindi-speaking workers regarding company policies, work schedules, attendance, leave, discipline, safety, and other HR matters.
- Act as a communication bridge between management/supervisors and Hindi-speaking employees.
- Explain HR policies, rules, notices, and instructions to workers in Hindi whenever required.
- Handle worker grievances and coordinate with supervisors/management for resolution.
- Support onboarding and induction of Hindi-speaking workers.

Attendance Management

- Manage daily employee and worker attendance across different departments and units.
- Monitor biometric/attendance systems and verify attendance records.
- Track late coming, early leaving, absenteeism, overtime, and shift attendance.
- Verify attendance data before payroll processing.




- Coordinate with department heads regarding attendance corrections and discrepancies.
- Prepare attendance reports and monthly attendance summaries.
- Maintain proper records of leave, permissions, holidays, weekly offs, and overtime.

Payroll Management

- Coordinate and support monthly payroll processing.
- Verify attendance, overtime, leave, deductions, advances, incentives, and other payroll inputs.
- Prepare and submit accurate payroll data to the Accounts/Finance department.
- Ensure payroll inputs are properly checked before salary processing.
- Maintain employee salary and payroll-related records.
- Coordinate with Accounts regarding salary discrepancies and employee queries.
- Knowledge of statutory payroll components such as PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other applicable deductions is preferred.

Vehicle Management

- Manage and monitor company vehicles used for employee transportation, business operations, and logistics support.
- Maintain records of company vehicles, drivers, vehicle assignments, and usage.
- Coordinate daily vehicle allocation and transportation requirements.
- Monitor driver attendance, duty schedules, and vehicle availability.
- Maintain vehicle-related records including fuel, servicing, insurance, permits, and maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate vehicle repairs and servicing with the concerned department/vendor.
- Monitor fuel consumption and maintain proper vehicle usage records.
- Ensure vehicles are available according to operational requirements.

Recruitment & Employee Onboarding

- Support recruitment activities based on manpower requirements.
- Coordinate candidate screening, interviews, selection, and joining formalities.
- Prepare and maintain employee documentation.
- Conduct joining formalities and employee induction.
- Coordinate deployment of newly joined employees to the respective departments.

Employee Relations & Discipline





- Handle employee and worker grievances professionally.
- Monitor compliance with company rules, policies, and disciplinary procedures.
- Coordinate with supervisors and department heads regarding employee-related issues.
- Assist management in resolving workplace conflicts.
- Maintain proper documentation of disciplinary matters and employee communications.

HR Administration

- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
- Prepare HR reports related to manpower, attendance, leave, overtime, turnover, and absenteeism.
- Maintain records of employee accommodation/hostel allocation where applicable.
- Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with management and department heads for daily HR requirements.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations across office and plant locations.

Required Skills

- 3–5 years of experience in HR Generalist / HR Operations, preferably in FMCG, food manufacturing, or other manufacturing industries.
- Fluency in Hindi is mandatory.
- Good communication skills in Malayalam, Hindi and English.
- Strong knowledge of attendance and payroll management.
- Experience in managing blue-collar and migrant workers.
- Experience in Hindi-speaking worker allocation and manpower deployment.
- Good knowledge of HR documentation and employee records.
- Knowledge of biometric attendance systems and HRMS/payroll software.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Ability to handle multiple HR and administrative responsibilities.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- MBA/PG Diploma in HR is an advantage.
