About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and business-focused HR Business Partner to partner with business leaders and site teams across the employee lifecycle. The role will be responsible for providing effective HR support, driving employee engagement, ensuring process compliance and partnering with stakeholders to address people-related requirements.
The ideal candidate should have solid HR fundamentals, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to independently manage HR operations and employee relations matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the HR point of contact for assigned business units/sites and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Partner with business leaders and managers on workforce planning, employee engagement and people-related matters.
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle including onboarding, probation, performance management, transfers and exits.
- Handle employee relations matters, grievances and workplace concerns with appropriate sensitivity and confidentiality.
- Drive performance management processes, including probation reviews, performance improvement plans and related interventions.
- Monitor and analyse HR metrics including headcount, attrition, retention, absenteeism and employee movement.
- Conduct regular site visits and proactively identify HR and employee-related concerns.
- Ensure timely closure of employee cases and adherence to HR policies and processes.
- Partner with HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, L&D; and other HR functions to ensure seamless employee support.
- Prepare and maintain HR reports, dashboards and management updates.
- Support implementation of HR policies, initiatives and engagement programmes.
- Identify process gaps and recommend practical improvements to enhance HR effectiveness.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable statutory requirements.
What We Are Looking For
- 4–8 years of overall HR experience, preferably with 2+ years in an HRBP / HR Generalist partnering role from Real Estate Industry.
- Strong understanding of employee relations, performance management and HR processes.
- Experience in managing site-based or business-facing HR responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in MS Excel / Power BI preferred.
- Good understanding of HR policies and employment practices.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and drive timely closure of issues.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality and sound judgement.
- Candidates from real estate, construction, infrastructure, engineering or project-based organisations would be preferred.
