Job Description – Quality Head

Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control
Reports To: Operations Head / Plant Head / Senior Management

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Quality Assurance and Quality Control team.
- Develop, implement, and maintain food quality and food safety systems.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000 and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Establish quality standards and specifications for raw materials, packaging materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
- Monitor quality throughout the complete production process.
- Ensure proper implementation of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices.
- Review and approve raw material and finished-product quality specifications.
- Lead investigation of customer complaints, product defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
- Implement CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.




- Plan and conduct internal quality and food safety audits.
- Coordinate external, customer, certification, and regulatory audits.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory/testing equipment.
- Review quality reports, test results, trends, and process performance.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and records.
- Train employees on food safety, hygiene, GMP, quality standards, and procedures.
- Work closely with Production, R&D;, Procurement, Stores, Maintenance, and Operations teams.
- Ensure product traceability, proper documentation, and effective recall procedures.
- Drive a strong culture of quality and food safety across the organization.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
