About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Railway Tender & Execution Manager with strong knowledge of Indian Railways procurement, railway coach manufacturing units, tenders, vendor registration, technical specifications, and order execution.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience dealing with Indian Railways and its production units, particularly in relation to LHB coaches, railway coach windows & doors, aluminium components, electrical items and other coach-related products.

The candidate should be capable of independently handling the complete cycle from tender identification and bid submission to order execution, documentation, inspection, supply and payment follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and monitor relevant Indian Railways tenders, procurement opportunities and upcoming requirements.
- Handle complete tender lifecycle including:
- Tender identification
- Tender document study
- Eligibility assessment
- Technical & commercial bid preparation
- EMD / Tender Fee / Security requirements
- Online tender submission
- Pre-bid queries and clarifications
- Bid follow-up
- LOA / PO / Contract formalities
- Study technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, RDSO requirements and railway standards.
- Coordinate with technical, production, purchase, accounts and management teams for tender submission and execution.
- Manage post-award activities including PO/contract review, dispatch planning, inspection, documentation and delivery.
- Coordinate with railway officials, production units, inspection authorities and relevant departments wherever required.
- Maintain complete records of tenders, quotations, technical documents, purchase orders, contracts and correspondence.
- Track tender results, competitors, market pricing and upcoming railway requirements.
- Coordinate with approved vendors/manufacturers for railway-specific products and components.




- Ensure timely submission of invoices, inspection documents, test certificates, delivery documents and other railway-required documentation.
- Follow up for bill processing, payment, security deposit, retention and other commercial matters.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with relevant railway procurement and technical departments.

Mandatory Railway Industry Knowledge

The candidate must have practical knowledge of Indian Railways and railway coach manufacturing/procurement ecosystem, including:

- LHB Coaches
- RCF – Rail Coach Factory, Kapurthala
- ICF – Integral Coach Factory, Chennai
- MCF – Modern Coach Factory, Rae Bareli
- Other major Indian Railways Production Units, Workshops and Stores
- Railway coach component procurement
- Railway tendering and e-procurement procedures
- Railway vendor registration / approval procedures
- Railway inspection and acceptance procedures
- RDSO specifications and relevant railway standards
- Coach component drawings and technical specifications
- Supply, inspection, dispatch and payment procedures

Knowledge of ICF/LHB coach construction, coach windows, doors, aluminium profiles/components, electrical systems and other coach fittings will be highly preferred.

Product Knowledge – Preferred

Candidates with experience in any of the following will be preferred:

- Railway coach windows
- Railway coach doors
- Aluminium windows and doors
- Aluminium profiles and fabricated components
- Coach body components
- Electrical components for railway coaches
- Interior/exterior coach components
- LHB coach components
- Railway-approved products/components

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of Indian Railway tender procedures
- Excellent tender documentation and bid preparation skills




- Ability to independently read and understand technical specifications and BOQs
- Strong commercial negotiation skills
- Knowledge of railway procurement terminology
- Excellent follow-up and coordination abilities
- Good communication and relationship-management skills
- Strong MS Excel and documentation skills
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and stakeholders
- Willingness to travel to railway production units, workshops and offices when required

Experience

Essential:

- 5–10+ years of experience in Indian Railway tenders/procurement/business development/order execution.
- Prior experience with railway coach components, aluminium products, windows & doors or electrical products will be strongly preferred.

Highly Preferred:

- Existing knowledge of railway vendors, production units and procurement departments.
- Experience handling tenders/orders related to LHB coaches.
- Experience dealing with RCF Kapurthala, ICF Chennai, MCF Rae Bareli or other railway production units/workshops.
- Experience with railway inspection, supply and payment processes.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is not merely a tender-filing executive. He/she should understand how the Indian Railways procurement and coach manufacturing ecosystem actually works, from identifying the requirement and submitting the tender to getting the product approved, inspected, supplied and paid for.

A candidate with strong railway contacts, production-unit knowledge, LHB/coach-component experience and practical tender execution experience will be given preference.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
