Position: Optometrist

Job Summary:
We are looking for a qualified and patient-focused optometrist to provide comprehensive eye examinations, vision testing, and optical care while supporting the smooth functioning of the Eye Care Department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive eye and vision examinations.
- Perform refraction tests and determine appropriate spectacle/contact lens prescriptions.
- Assess visual acuity, colour vision, binocular vision, and other basic eye functions.
- Assist the ophthalmologist during eye examinations and procedures as required.
- Identify signs of eye disorders and refer patients to the ophthalmologist when necessary.
- Counsel patients regarding spectacles, contact lenses, eye care, and vision hygiene.




- Maintain accurate patient records and examination reports.
- Ensure proper handling, maintenance, and cleanliness of optometry equipment.
- Coordinate with reception, doctors, and other clinical staff for smooth patient flow.
- Follow all clinical protocols, hygiene standards, and organisation policies.

Qualification: Bachelor/Diploma in Optometry from a recognised institution.

Experience: Fresher or experienced candidates may apply.

Skills Required: Valuable clinical knowledge, patient-handling skills, communication skills, accuracy, professionalism, and basic computer knowledge.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
