We are looking for a VMC Machine Operator to join our production team. Freshers with ITI/Diploma qualifications are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Operate VMC machines as per production requirements.
- Load and unload components and fixtures.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings.
- Perform basic tool setting and tool offset corrections.
- Check component dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
- Monitor machine operation and identify tool wear or dimensional variations.
- Maintain required quality and production standards.
- Follow safety, 5S, and housekeeping practices.
- Achieve daily production targets with minimum rejection and rework.
Requirements
- ITI in Machinist / Turner / Fitter or Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering.
- Freshers can apply.
- 0–3 years of experience in VMC/CNC machine operation.
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of G-code/M-code is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in shifts.
- Good attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of cutting tools, tool offsets, drilling, tapping, and milling operations.
- Experience in a precision engineering/manufacturing environment will be an advantage.
