Job Summary

Adam Design Studio LLP is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage the company’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and preferably experience working with an interior design, construction, or project-based company.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely updating of financial records.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor and client outstanding follow-ups.
- Prepare and verify invoices, bills, payment vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Monitor project-wise expenses, material purchases, labour payments, and other project-related costs.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Sales, Project, and Site Teams to ensure proper documentation and accounting of transactions.
- Maintain and reconcile bank accounts, cash accounts, customer accounts, and vendor accounts.
- Monitor receivables and payables and provide regular outstanding reports to management.
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports and management reports.
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements and coordinate with external auditors/consultants when required.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.




- Verify employee salary-related information, advances, reimbursements, and other payroll-related accounting requirements.
- Assist with year-end closing, audit requirements, and preparation of financial statements.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality of company financial information and business data.
- Support management with financial information and accounting reports whenever required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Prior experience in an interior design, construction, contracting, or project-based company will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and general accounting practices.
- Proficiency in Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
- Good knowledge of bank reconciliation, ledger maintenance, receivables, payables, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
