SENIOR IT EXECUTIVE – JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Senior IT Executive
Department: Information Technology (IT)
Reports To: IT Manager / Management

Job Role

Responsible for managing and maintaining the hospital’s IT infrastructure, HMIS, software, network, and user support to ensure smooth and uninterrupted hospital operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain computers, servers, printers, networking equipment, and other IT infrastructure.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to all hospital departments and staff.
- Manage and support the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS), including registration, billing, pharmacy, laboratory, IP/OP, and other modules.
- Monitor HMIS performance and coordinate with the software vendor for technical issues, updates, and required modifications.
- Identify and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues promptly.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system security.
- Monitor and maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, internet connectivity, and other network infrastructure.
- Ensure regular data backup and support data recovery procedures.
- Maintain IT asset records, software licenses, service reports, and maintenance documentation.
- Coordinate with external IT service providers and vendors for support and maintenance.
- Monitor system performance and recommend necessary upgrades or replacements.




- Ensure the security and confidentiality of hospital data and IT systems.
- Provide technical support for CCTV, biometric attendance, telephone/intercom, and other technology-based systems.
- Assist in implementing new IT systems, software, hardware, and hospital technology projects.
- Provide basic IT/HMIS training and technical guidance to hospital staff.
- Maintain proper records of IT complaints, troubleshooting, resolutions, and preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with HODs and departments to identify and resolve IT/HMIS-related requirements.
- Ensure timely resolution of critical IT issues affecting hospital operations.
- Perform any other IT-related duties assigned by the Management / IT Manager.

Qualification

- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ year of relevant experience in IT support, system administration, or hospital IT operations.
- Experience in HMIS/Hospital Management Software is preferred.
- Good knowledge of hardware, networking, Windows OS, software troubleshooting, and basic IT security.
- Robust problem-solving and communication skills.
- Hospital IT experience will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
