We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Fashion Designer Intern who can contribute to the development of fashion concepts, samples, and visual designs. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of garment construction and be comfortable using digital design tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and execute technically correct garment samples.
- Have practical knowledge of pattern cutting, fabric cutting, and sample development.
- Assist in creating and refining garment designs from concept to sample.
- Develop creative and conceptual fashion ideas based on brand inspiration and trends.
- Create visual representations of fashion concepts and design ideas.
- Explore and utilize AI tools for fashion ideation, visualization, and design development.
- Use Adobe Creative Cloud tools, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator, for editing, visualization, and design presentations.
- Assist with maintaining design references, concepts, and visual mood boards.
- Work closely with the team to translate creative concepts into technically feasible designs.
Required Skills
- Basic to positive technical knowledge of garment construction and sampling.
- Understanding of cutting and preparing garment samples.
- Strong creative and conceptual thinking.
- Ability to understand brand aesthetics and translate inspiration into designs.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar design software.
- Interest in using AI tools for fashion design and visualization.
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
