Job Description – Backend Developer / Technical Team Lead (AWS & Cloud Infrastructure)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer / Technical Team Lead to architect, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications while leading a team of software engineers. The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in backend technologies, AWS cloud infrastructure, system architecture, DevOps practices, and team leadership.

Prior experience in ERP application development or implementation will be a significant advantage.

Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Development

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Build reusable and maintainable code following best practices.
- Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

Cloud Infrastructure & AWS

- Design and manage cloud-native solutions on AWS.
- Deploy and maintain applications using AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.
- Implement security best practices including IAM, VPC, encryption, and access control.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and optimize cloud costs.
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data backup strategies.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.

DevOps & Automation

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management processes.
- Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions.





Technical Leadership

- Lead and mentor backend development teams.
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical decision-making.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, UI/UX, and DevOps teams.
- Estimate project timelines and allocate resources effectively.
- Conduct technical interviews and support team growth.
- Drive engineering best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Strong experience in Node.js, React, Next.js.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, Microservices, and Distributed Systems.
