Role Summary: -
The ARMO Tech – Electromechanical I support Drilling Services Manufacturing through wiring, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation of electro-mechanical MWD/LWD assets. The role requires strong technical capability, a proactive mindset, and the ability to raise improvement ideas that enhance HSE, Quality, delivery, cost, and operational performance.
Essential Responsibilities: -
The Manufacturing Tech – Electromechanical III will be responsible for the following:
· Perform wiring, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical drilling tools, components, and related equipment.
· Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, parts lists, and technical procedures to complete work accurately and safely.
· Perform soldering and assembly of electro-mechanical components in accordance with approved work instructions and quality standards.
· Use and operate electrical test instruments, including Wee Tech, multimeters, meggers, hi-pot testers, and other relevant diagnostic tools.
· Support scheduled, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational readiness.
· Perform quality assurance checks in line with manufacturing, engineering, ISO, and internal compliance requirements.
· Apply technical knowledge of AC/DC electrical circuits, mechanical assemblies, and precision measuring equipment.
· Identify technical issues, support root cause analysis, and contribute to practical troubleshooting solutions.
· Maintain accurate assembly administration records, system updates, and documentation required for traceability and compliance.
Essential Requirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies): -
· Years of experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in electro-mechanical wiring, assembly, testing and troubleshooting
· Field of experience: AC/DC electrical circuits, fluid power systems, or a related technical field is preferred
· Technical Skills: AC/DC electrical circuits, fluid power systems
· Soft Skills: Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
· Tools or Software (Required / Preferred): AC/DC electrical circuits, fluid power systems
· Education Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Diploma, associate degree, or bachelor’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Engineering Technology, Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
· Industry Background or Experience (Required / Preferred): Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical
· Target Companies: Schlumberger, Haliburton, Weatherford etc
· Off-limits Companies: None
· Required Accreditations / Qualifications / Certification / Licenses including Driving License: None
Desirable attributes of the worker (Experience / Skills / Competencies): -
· Demonstrated track record of proactively raising Stop Work actions related to HSE, Quality, or operational risk, with the ability to identify unsafe conditions, quality concerns, and process deviations.
· Strong proactive mindset with demonstrated ownership, accountability, and a continuous improvement approach across HSE, Quality, delivery, and cost performance.
· Solid mechanical aptitude with practical experience using general hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
· Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
Pay: ₹35,800.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
