We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Deputy Nursing Superintendent (DNS) to assist in the overall administration, supervision, and coordination of nursing services. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care, nursing practices, staff discipline, and compliance with hospital policies and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Nursing Superintendent in managing and supervising the overall nursing operations.
- Monitor nursing staff deployment, duty rosters, attendance, leave, and manpower requirements.
- Ensure adequate staffing across ICU, NICU, Emergency, General Ward, OT, Cath Lab, and other critical areas.
- Supervise nursing staff and ensure compliance with hospital SOPs, policies, protocols, and clinical guidelines.
- Ensure high standards of patient care, nursing practices, infection control, and patient safety.
- Conduct regular rounds and monitor nursing activities and patient-care standards.
- Handle nursing-related complaints, grievances, and operational issues effectively.
- Coordinate with doctors, hospital administration, HR, and other departments for smooth patient-care operations.
- Ensure proper documentation, nursing records, medication records, and handover procedures.
- Monitor compliance with infection prevention and control protocols.
- Identify training and development needs of nursing staff and coordinate training programs.
- Conduct performance monitoring and provide feedback to nursing personnel.
- Ensure proper availability and utilization of nursing equipment, supplies, and consumables.
- Participate in audits, quality initiatives,



accreditation activities, and hospital inspections.
- Ensure adherence to NABH standards and other applicable healthcare regulations.
- Assist in recruitment, orientation, induction, and deployment of nursing personnel.
- Maintain discipline and professional conduct among nursing staff.
- Prepare and review nursing reports, incident reports, and departmental performance reports.
- Handle emergencies and coordinate nursing resources during critical situations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Nursing Superintendent or Hospital Management.

Eligibility:

- B.Sc. Nursing and M.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in a hospital/nursing administration role.
- Previous experience in a supervisory/administrative nursing position will be preferred.
- Valid nursing registration with the relevant State Nursing Council.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
