Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Pharmacist with hands-on experience in Operation Theatre (OT) pharmacy and medicine-store management. The candidate will be responsible for dispensing medicines, maintaining inventory, ensuring proper storage of medicines and surgical items, and supporting the OT team with timely availability of required drugs and consumables.

Key Responsibilities

- Dispense medicines accurately as per prescriptions and hospital requirements.
- Manage OT medicines, emergency drugs, injections, and surgical consumables.
- Maintain proper stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Receive, check, and store medicines according to required storage conditions.
- Monitor expiry dates, batch numbers, and stock movement.
- Maintain pharmacy records, registers, and inventory documentation.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, OT staff, and other departments for medicine requirements.




- Prepare and issue medicines and consumables for surgeries and procedures.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of high-alert and temperature-sensitive medicines.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and report discrepancies.
- Follow hospital pharmacy policies, safety standards, and applicable regulations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- B.Pharm / D.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid pharmacist registration as applicable.
- Previous experience in OT and hospital medicine store is mandatory/preferred.
- Good knowledge of medicines, injections, surgical consumables, and medical supplies.
- Experience in inventory and expiry management.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency requirements.

Preferred Experience

- 1–3 years of experience in hospital pharmacy/medicine store.
- Experience handling OT pharmacy and surgical consumables will be an advantage.

Salary

As per experience negociable

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
