About Varon Mart

Varon Mart is a brand-new, fast-paced hypermarket and retail chain launching in Surat, designed on a high-volume, customer-first model (similar to D-Mart). We are building a agile workforce to power our new store operations and are looking for a sharp, experienced Senior HR Executive to lead our recruitment and HR operations.

Role Overview

As the Senior HR Executive, you will lead end-to-end HR operations, mass recruitment drives for retail staff, floor management alignment, payroll coordination, and employee relations. You will guide and manage a team of 5 HR Executives while reporting directly to Management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead mass hiring initiatives for store staff, floor executives, cashiers, and warehouse personnel.
- Supervise and mentor a team of 5 HR Executives in daily recruitment and HR operations.
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle: onboarding, orientation, documentation, and offboarding.




- Implement attendance, leave management, and shift-roster policies for retail store operations.
- Handle statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, minimum wages) and local labor regulations.
- Resolve employee grievances promptly to maintain a high-retention, positive work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: 3 to 5+ years in HR, with proven experience in Retail, Hypermarket, Supermarket, or Mass Hiring.
- Education: MBA in HR, BBA, or relevant Bachelor's degree.
- Languages: Fluent in Gujarati, Hindi, and English.
- Strong leadership, team management, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Deep understanding of retail workforce management and the local Surat labor market.
