Instrumental Music TeacherJob Summary

We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and experienced Instrumental Music Teacher to provide high-quality music education to students. The teacher will be responsible for developing students’ instrumental skills, musical knowledge, confidence, creativity, and appreciation of music through structured lessons and practical training.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach instrumental music to students across different age groups and skill levels.
- Provide individual and group instrumental training through structured lesson plans.
- Develop students’ understanding of rhythm, melody, notation, scales, chords, and basic music theory.
- Prepare students for school assemblies, cultural programmes, competitions, concerts, and other performances.
- Train and coordinate school music bands, ensembles, and instrumental groups.
- Identify students with musical potential and encourage their development.
- Organize regular practice sessions and monitor students’ progress.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive, engaging, and encouraging learning environment.
- Introduce students to a variety of musical styles, genres, and instruments.
- Maintain records of students’ attendance, performance, and progress.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school management for musical events and activities.
- Ensure proper care, maintenance, and safe use of musical instruments.
- Participate in school events, workshops, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
- Stay updated with modern teaching methods and developments in music education.





Preferred Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s/Diploma/Certificate in Music or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Robust proficiency in at least one musical instrument such as Keyboard/Piano, Guitar, Tabla, Drums, Violin, Flute, or other recognized instruments.
- Knowledge of basic music theory and notation.
- Previous experience teaching music in a school or educational institution will be preferred.
- Good communication and classroom-management skills.
- Ability to teach students of different age groups and abilities.
- Creative, patient, enthusiastic, and student-friendly approach.
- Ability to prepare students for stage performances and competitions.

Desirable

- Formal certification or degree in instrumental music.
- Experience in handling school bands, orchestras, ensembles, or music clubs.
- Performance experience or participation in recognized music competitions/events.
- Ability to play more than one instrument will be an advantage.

Employment Type

Full-Time / Part-Time – As per school requirement

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹36,000.00 per month
