Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Concrete Machine Operator / Control Room Operator to operate and monitor automated machinery used in the production of interlock concrete blocks and other cement products.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor automated concrete production machinery from the control room.
- Operate SCADA/PLC control panels and computerized systems.
- Monitor the mixing, batching, molding, and production processes.
- Ensure consistent product quality and proper machine settings.
- Monitor production flow and identify operational issues.
- Troubleshoot machine faults and report technical problems.
- Perform basic maintenance and adjustments when required.
- Maintain safe and efficient operation of production equipment.
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.
- Maintain production records and follow company safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating concrete block/interlock block machinery is preferred.
- Experience with automated production systems and control panels.
- Basic knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems is an advantage.
- Good understanding of concrete mixing, batching, and molding processes.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot machine faults.
- Basic mechanical/technical knowledge.
- Valuable communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing/production environment.
