Job Summary:
We are looking for a Monitoring Tools Consultant with strong expertise in BMC TrueSight Operations Management (TSOM) and BMC Helix Operations Management (BHOM). The candidate should have hands-on experience in Implementation, integrations, troubleshooting, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage BHOM/TSOM monitoring solution.
- Install and configure and/or migrate Patrol Agents
- Develop and maintain event management policies, thresholds etc.
- Troubleshoot monitoring issues and perform root cause analysis
- Integrate monitoring tools with third-party monitoring and ticketing systems
- Document processes and configurations in MS Word and Excel
- Experience in migration activities such as TSOM to BHOM
Must Have Skills:
- Strong knowledge of TSOM/BHOM architecture
- Patrol Agent installation and configuration experience
- Understanding of Patrol and Sentry KMs
- Event management policies and threshold configuration
- Integration with third-party monitoring/ticketing tools, such as Prometheus, ServiceNow etc. and JSON and API integration knowledge
- Experience in Shell Scripting, Grafana dashboards, Service Modelling with blueprints
- Knowledge of AI/HelixGPT agents
- Basic email etiquette

- Kubernetes basics
- ITIL knowledge and TSOM/BHOM certifications
