Our products illuminate everything from commercial spaces to architectural landmarks, combining functionality with refined design.

We are seeking for Inbound Logistics Supervisor owns the inbound logistics process from Supplier goods ready collection international transport import documentation customs clearance delivery to company warehouse.

The role does not own purchasing decisions, supplier commercial negotiations or outbound customer deliveries. Purchasing and supplier strategy remain with the Procurement Manager, while customer shipments and delivery sit with the Outbound Logistics function.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Coordinate inbound shipments into the UK, Dubai, India and future warehouse locations.

- Arrange collection of goods from suppliers and production facilities using the appropriate air, sea, road or courier service.

- Confirm collection dates, departure dates, transit times and expected arrival dates and maintain visibility of all goods in transit.

- Ensure Warehouse teams receive accurate advance information on expected inbound deliveries.

- Work closely with suppliers and production teams to confirm goods readiness, collection details, carton/pallet quantities, dimensions, weights and required shipping documents.

- Ensure commercial invoices, packing lists and other required supplier documents are complete and accurate before collection.

- Follow up on missing or incorrect documentation and escalate supplier delays or repeated documentation issues.

- Coordinate import and customs documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, HS/commodity codes, country of origin, import declarations,



certificates, preference declarations, licences and Incoterms where applicable.

- Provide customs brokers and freight forwarders with complete and accurate shipment information and resolve documentation or clearance issues.

- Coordinate customs clearance and actively monitor shipments held or delayed at customs until release.

- Support the review of import duties, taxes, brokerage fees and other import charges and investigate unexpected or incorrect charges.

- Request and compare freight quotations where required and maintain day-to-day communication with freight forwarders, couriers and customs brokers.

- Monitor logistics-provider performance including collection reliability, transit time, customs-clearance performance, communication and final delivery.

- Maintain one global inbound shipment tracker covering purchase order, supplier, origin, destination warehouse, transport method, tracking/AWB/BL details, ETA, customs status, delivery date, freight cost, duties/taxes, delays and actions.

- Coordinate final delivery into the warehouse and support resolution of missing cartons, damages, short deliveries or other delivery discrepancies.

- Support the Procurement Manager with import-readiness research for new warehouse locations and sourcing markets, including importer requirements, customs registrations, duties/taxes, licences, broker requirements and country-of-origin rules.

- Identify recurring inbound issues and support corrective actions to reduce customs delays, documentation errors,



missed collections and unnecessary freight costs.

- Support the standardisation of inbound logistics processes across all global locations.

- Supervise a small team of 2–3 people, allocate daily tasks and priorities, and ensure shipment tracking, documentation and follow-ups are completed on time.

- Support team training, monitor performance and escalate workload or recurring issues to the Procurement Manager.

Key Skills Required:

- Positive understanding of import/customs documentation, customs-clearance processes, Incoterms and HS codes.

- Experience working with freight forwarders, couriers and customs brokers.

- Strong shipment tracking, organisation and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple international shipments at the same time.

- Experience supporting multiple countries or warehouse locations is desirable.

- Experience supervising a small team of 2–3 people, including allocating work, monitoring progress and supporting team members.

Preferred Qualification & Experience:

- 3–5 years of experience in international import logistics, freight forwarding and courier coordination.

- Bachelor's degree or a related field.
