Physical Education Teacher (KG–12) - For Immediate Appointment

Sri Adwayananda Public School, a CISCE-affiliated English-medium school in Pathanamthitta District, Kerala, seeks an enthusiastic and dedicated Physical Education Teacher passionate about promoting physical fitness, healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students from Kindergarten through Grade 12.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons for students from KG to Grade 12.
- Promote physical fitness, wellness, sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Organize and supervise sports activities, inter-house competitions, annual sports events, and athletic meets.
- Coach students in a variety of sports and physical activities.
- Assess student participation, progress, and skill development.
- Ensure student safety and proper use of sports equipment and facilities.
- Support extracurricular sports programs, clubs, and school teams.
- Maintain records related to student performance and participation.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents,



and school leadership to support student development.
- Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation by students of varying abilities and interests.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) required.
- M.P.Ed. preferred.
- Relevant teaching certification and experience in a school setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physical education pedagogy, sports training, and child development.
- Ability to engage and motivate students across different age groups.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Medium of instruction: English
- Experience organizing school sports events and coaching teams is an advantage.
