About the Role

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Cinematographer / DOP who can translate concepts and stories into visually compelling video content.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of camera operation, lighting, composition, framing, lenses, and visual storytelling, with experience creating skilled-quality content for music videos, documentaries, devotional content, events, social media, and promotional films.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute the visual style of video productions.
- Operate professional cinema, mirrorless, or DSLR cameras.
- Select appropriate cameras, lenses, lighting, and accessories for each production.
- Create cinematic compositions, camera movements, and lighting setups.
- Work closely with the director, creative team, and production team.
- Conduct location scouting and assess lighting and shooting requirements.
- Set up and manage professional lighting equipment.
- Shoot interviews, events, music videos, documentaries, promotional videos, and social media content.
- Ensure proper exposure, focus, white balance, framing, and image quality.
- Manage camera equipment and ensure it is properly maintained.
- Coordinate with the editing and post-production team to maintain visual consistency.
- Adapt shooting techniques for different formats, including 16:9, 9:16, and 4:5.
- Maintain professional visual quality across multiple platforms.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of cinematography and visual storytelling.
- Excellent knowledge of cameras, lenses, lighting, and camera accessories.
- Understanding of composition, depth of field, exposure, frame rates, shutter speed, ISO, and white balance.




- Experience with cinematic camera movements and handheld/gimbal shooting.
- Knowledge of natural and artificial lighting techniques.
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Basic understanding of color grading and post-production workflows.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and changing production conditions.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong attention to visual details.

Preferred Technical Skills

Experience with:

- Sony / Canon / Panasonic / Blackmagic / RED cameras
- Cinema lenses and prime lenses
- Gimbal and stabilizer systems
- Drone cinematography
- Professional LED lighting
- Wireless video systems
- External monitors and recorders
- DaVinci Resolve / Premiere Pro
- Basic color grading and LUT workflows

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following will be an advantage:

- Music videos
- Devotional / spiritual content
- Documentary filmmaking
- Temple and heritage cinematography
- Event coverage
- Interviews
- Promotional films
- YouTube content
- Instagram / Reels production
- Travel and cultural films

Portfolio Requirement

Candidates should provide a portfolio/showreel demonstrating their cinematography work.

Portfolio should preferably include examples of:

- Cinematic shots
- Lighting setups
- Camera movement
- Interviews
- Events
- Music videos
- Documentary or cultural content

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
