We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Manager to lead the establishment and management of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, a comprehensive understanding of hardware and software systems, and a proven track record in designing and implementing IT solutions for small to medium-sized enterprises.

Position Overview : As the IT Manager, you will play a pivotal role in steering the IT functions of our fast-growing small company. Your responsibilities will span building, maintaining & improvising IT infrastructure of our company, team management, policy creation, vendor management, training and management of IT assistants, setting up and operating Windows web servers, expertly navigating cloud systems such as Microsoft 365 Azure and Google Workspace and more. Key Responsibilities:

IT Infrastructure Development: Design, implement, and maintain a scalable and efficient IT infrastructure to support the company's growth.

Policies & Procedures Development: Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure security, compliance, and consistency.

Team Leadership and Management: Lead and manage a small IT team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.

Overview the current system of Firewall, cloud back up and drive management.

Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment within the IT department.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, configurations, and processes.





Strategic Recommendations: Provide strategic recommendations to the management team on IT developments and improvements.

Hardware and Software Management: Resolve laptop, mobile, printer, network hardware, and software issues promptly.
Manage Microsoft Windows Group Policies and operate cloud systems such as Google Workspace & Microsoft Azure.

Configuring, Installing, Configuring & Administering the IT devices like Laptop, Desktop, Mobile & Printer including configuring Windows Operating System.

Network Management: Manage network systems, including routers and access points.
Implement and optimize network security measures.

Vendor Management and Procurement: Collaborate with vendors for IT equipment and services, negotiating contracts for optimal terms.
Procure laptops and mobiles for employees, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.

Data Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement robust data backup and recovery procedures.
Conduct regular tests to ensure the effectiveness of backup systems.

Configuring, mapping and administering of google cloud storage of the organization. (Google Workspace management)

IT Infrastructure Design: Utilize past experience to design IT infrastructure suitable for a small to medium-sized company.

Training to employees: Providing basic training to employees to avoid first hand problems arising out of usage of laptops, devices and servers.

Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements to enhance the team's skills.

Task Prioritization: Effectively prioritize and manage a multitude of tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of IT operations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.




- 7+ years of hands-on experience in IT management.
- Proven experience in designing IT infrastructure for small to medium-sized companies.
- Strong technical expertise in hardware, software troubleshooting, and network systems.
- Expertise in Microsoft Windows Group Policies, Windows web servers, and cloud systems such as Google Workspace & Microsoft 365 Sharepoint.
- Good knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM).
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Certifications: Possess certifications in computer hardware, networking, and software (e.g., CompTIA A+, N+, CCNA, RHCE).
- Schooling should have been in English language.

Reports to: Directors of the company

Location: Kolkata (Salt Lake City, Sector - V, India)

Office Timing: Office hours to coincide with UK working hours (12:30 AM - 09:30 PM)

Office Days - Monday to Friday (5 Days a week)

Salary: ₹4,80,000 - ₹6,00,000 per year
