Product marketing and telemarketing represent two distinct functions in the sales funnel: Product Marketing drives strategic positioning, go-to-market (GTM) launches, and sales enablement, whereas Telemarketing (Inside Sales / SDR) executes direct outbound calling, lead qualification, and appointment scheduling.

Key Responsibilities

- Go-to-Market Execution: Plan and execute launch campaigns for new products, features, and hardware/software solutions.
- Positioning & Messaging: Craft differentiated value propositions, customer personas, and use-case narratives for diverse target industries.
- Sales Enablement: Develop high-impact collateral, pitch decks, product one-pagers, case studies, demo scripts, and competitor battle cards.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor market trends, benchmark competitors, and identify industry gaps to inform pricing, packaging, and roadmap priorities.
- Customer & Market Insights: Conduct interviews, gather qualitative feedback, and collaborate with product teams to refine features based on real user needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:



Partner with digital marketing, direct sales, and technical teams to ensure cohesive campaign messaging across all touchpoints.
- Outbound Prospecting: Conduct 60–100 outbound calls daily to target businesses, prospective clients, and inbound inquiries.
- Pitch Delivery: Deliver transparent, value-focused elevator pitches that address common industry bottlenecks.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate call logs, prospect notes, follow-up reminders, and stage updates in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).
- Objection Handling: Address initial skepticism, gatekeepers, and common pushbacks with prepared talk tracks and solutions knowledge.
- Appointment Setting: Coordinate calendars and book qualified discovery calls or product demonstrations for field sales teams.
