About Position:

We are seeking a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Analyst to support and manage enterprise data protection initiatives with a strong focus on Proofpoint DLP solutions, endpoint data security, insider threat monitoring, and email protection technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring security alerts, validating DLP policies, investigating potential data-loss incidents, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-scale data security programs and help safeguard critical business information.

What You'll Do:

- Monitor Proofpoint ITM and endpoint DLP agent health, performance, user activity, and security alerts.




- Investigate and review alerts related to file uploads, USB usage, printing activities, clipboard operations, Bluetooth transfers, cloud synchronization, screen capture, and browser-based activities.
- Validate and maintain DLP detection and prevention policies to ensure effective protection of sensitive data.
- Monitor content inspection and data classification activities across endpoints and communication channels.
- Troubleshoot endpoint DLP agent issues and support deployment, configuration, and policy updates.
- Review contextual intelligence feeds and insider threat scenarios to identify potential risks and suspicious user behavior.
- Monitor and support Proofpoint Email DLP controls, email security policies, and compliance configurations.
- Validate adaptive and unified email DLP integrations and ensure appropriate detection of sensitive information.
- Investigate DLP incidents and collaborate with security teams to perform root cause analysis and remediation.
- Assist in policy tuning and optimization to reduce false positives and improve detection accuracy.
- Support security audits, compliance assessments, and reporting requirements related to data protection.
- Create and maintain operational documentation, incident reports, and knowledge-base articles.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 2–5 years of experience in Data Loss Prevention, Information Security, Data Protection, or Security Operations.
- Hands-on experience working with Proofpoint DLP technologies and related security platforms.
- Strong understanding of endpoint security, email security, and data protection controls.
- Experience monitoring, investigating, and resolving DLP alerts and security incidents.
- Knowledge of data classification, content inspection, and sensitive data detection methodologies.
- Ability to validate and optimize detection and prevention rules across DLP environments.
- Experience troubleshooting endpoint agents,



policy enforcement issues, and security alerts.
- Understanding of insider threat monitoring and user activity analysis.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements such as GDPR, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or similar standards is preferred.
- Familiarity with other DLP technologies and information protection solutions is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident investigation skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced security operations environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
