Profile: Store Manager

Experience:

Minimum 1-3 years of experience in store, warehouse or inventory management. Experience in engineering, construction, fire & safety, electrical, mechanical or similar industries is preferred. Role Overview:

We are seeking a responsible and well-organized Store Manager to independently manage our warehouse/godown, maintain accurate inventory, coordinate material dispatches to project sites and ensure smooth day-to-day store operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on and detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accurate stock records while coordinating effectively with the office, purchase team, technicians and site teams.

Roles:

1. Store Operations

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the company’s store/godown.

• Ensure proper identification, labeling and systematic storage of all materials.

• Maintain housekeeping, cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse.

• Ensure materials are handled and stored safely to prevent damage or loss.

2. Inventory & Stock Control

• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records for all fire safety materials.





• Track stock levels and inform management of low-stock, excess-stock and material requirements.

• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile it with inventory records.

• Maintain records of damaged, returned, unused and obsolete materials.

3. Inward, Outward & Dispatch

• Receive, inspect and store incoming materials and equipment.

• Handle material inward and outward entries with proper documentation.

• Prepare materials as per site/project requirements and arrange timely dispatch.

• Maintain records of delivery challans, material issue slips, invoices and other store documents.

4. Coordination & Improvement

• Coordinate with the purchase team and vendors for incoming materials and shortages, as required.

• Coordinate with technicians, project/site teams and management for smooth material movement.

• Support management in improving inventory control and store processes

Qualification:

Graduate & Mechanical Engineering background will be an added advantage.
