Job Description: Senior Programme Manager

Reports to: Program Manager
Supervises: Programme Team

Role Summary

The Senior Programme Manager provides senior-level coordination and implementation oversight for the startup acceleration programme at Assam Startup – The Nest. The role covers day-to-day delivery across the full startup journey, from outreach and selection through cohort activities, investor and market access, Demo Day and graduation. It also involves supervising the program team and coordinating with the Client and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Leadership and Oversight

- Provide senior-level programme coordination and oversee implementation against agreed plans, timelines and budgets.
- Support programme planning and periodic reviews, and track follow-up actions.
- Supervise, guide and review the work of the programme team.
- Coordinate with the Client and other stakeholders, including mentors, partners, investors and government bodies.

Day-to-Day Implementation

- Manage the day-to-day implementation of the Program.
- Coordinate startup outreach, applications, selection, onboarding and diagnostics.
- Manage cohort activities, including mentoring, workshops and milestone tracking.

Investor and Market Access

- Coordinate investor engagement and market-access activities for cohort startups.
- Organise Demo Day and graduation events, and support post-programme follow-up.

Monitoring, Quality and Reporting

- Monitor milestones,



quality and outcomes, and flag risks or delays early.
- Collect cohort data for timely reporting.
- Maintain programme records and documentation.
- Prepare periodic progress reports, review presentations and outcome summaries for the Client.
- Support documentation, troubleshooting and problem solving across programme operations.

Qualifications and Experience

Education

- BE, B. Tech, Graduate & Post Graduates in Entrepreneurship, Economics, Engineering, Social Sciences, Public Policy or a related discipline.
- Postgraduate degree in Management is desired.

Experience

- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in programme management, startup incubation or acceleration, entrepreneurship development or ecosystem programmes.
- Hands-on experience in program implementation, including cohort coordination.
- Prior experience supervising or leading a team.

Skills and Competencies

- Strong programme planning, monitoring and delivery management
- Team leadership and stakeholder management
- Good understanding of the startup ecosystem, including mentors, investors and market-access channels
- Excellent written and verbal communication, reporting and documentation skills
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- Familiarity with the Northeast India and Assam startup ecosystem is an advantage

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
