Job Summary

Ecostan India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer / Supervisor to manage and monitor maintenance activities at our manufacturing facility. The candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, machinery troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and breakdown handling in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily maintenance activities for plant machinery and equipment
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines
- Troubleshoot mechanical and equipment-related issues
- Monitor machine performance and reduce breakdown and downtime
- Plan and maintain preventive maintenance schedules
- Coordinate with Production for maintenance requirements
- Ensure proper availability of maintenance tools, spares, and materials
- Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and service history
- Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance of recent machinery
- Ensure proper safety practices during maintenance activities
- Implement 5S and continuous improvement activities
- Coordinate with external vendors/service providers when required

Qualifications

- B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in Maintenance
- Experience in manufacturing industry/domain is preferred

Preferred Experience

- Hands-on experience with production machinery, mechanical equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, and motors
- Knowledge of VMC/CNC machines and assembly line equipment will be an advantage
- Experience in reducing machine downtime and improving equipment efficiency
- Knowledge of maintenance documentation and preventive maintenance systems
- Experience with Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems
