About the Role
Suvarna Infrateck is looking for a Quantity Surveyor – Civil to support quantity surveying, estimation, billing and commercial activities for civil infrastructure and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review civil drawings, BOQs, specifications and project requirements.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and estimates.
- Prepare and verify BOQs for civil works.
- Prepare rate analysis and cost estimates.
- Assist in preparation and verification of RA bills, subcontractor bills and client bills.
- Measure completed works and verify quantities at site whenever required.
- Coordinate with project and execution teams for quantity reconciliation.
- Track material consumption and project quantities.
- Assist in variation,
extra-item and deviation statements.
- Support project cost monitoring and commercial control.
- Maintain measurement sheets, quantity records and billing documentation.
- Assist in subcontractor evaluation and commercial negotiations.
Desired Skills
- Solid knowledge of civil construction quantities and measurement practices.
- Good understanding of BOQ, estimation, billing and rate analysis.
- Ability to read civil drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and quantity surveying tools.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
