Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Nursing Superintendent to lead and manage the nursing department, ensuring high standards of patient care, nursing practices, staff coordination, and hospital protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise the overall nursing operations of the hospital.
- Ensure quality and protected patient care across all nursing units.
- Plan and manage nursing staff duty rosters, shifts, leave, and manpower requirements.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of nursing staff.
- Ensure proper implementation of hospital policies, nursing protocols, and infection-control practices.
- Coordinate with doctors, HODs, and other departments for smooth patient care.
- Monitor nursing documentation, patient records, medication administration, and handover procedures.
- Ensure adequate availability of nursing staff, equipment, medicines, and other essential supplies.
- Conduct regular rounds and monitor nursing standards across departments.
- Handle nursing-related complaints, incidents, and staff concerns effectively.
- Conduct training, orientation, and skill-development programs for nursing staff.




- Ensure compliance with NABH/hospital quality and patient-safety standards.
- Monitor emergency preparedness and ensure proper implementation of emergency protocols.
- Maintain discipline, professional conduct, and effective communication within the nursing team.
- Prepare and submit nursing-related reports to management.
- Coordinate with HR regarding recruitment, staffing, attendance, performance, and disciplinary matters.
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Management.

Qualification

- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid Nursing Council registration.
- Minimum 10+ years of total nursing experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in Nursing Superintendent / Nursing Administration.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting is mandatory.
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and team-management skills.
- Knowledge of hospital policies, nursing standards, infection control, and patient safety.
- Kannada , ENGLISH, and MALAYALAM language proficiency is preferred/required.

Pay: ₹42,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
