Electrical Maintenance – Job Description

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment, machinery, and industrial electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in motors, control panels, MCC panels, distribution boards, and wiring systems.
- Inspect and maintain electrical components to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Perform routine checks on motors, pumps, transformers, generators, contactors, relays, and circuit breakers.
- Read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and control circuit diagrams.
- Carry out cable installation, termination, testing, and maintenance.
- Monitor electrical parameters such as voltage, current, and insulation resistance.




- Identify the root cause of electrical failures and take corrective action to minimize machine downtime.
- Maintain maintenance records, breakdown reports, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Follow electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, and applicable safety standards.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operation of equipment.
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of electrical systems and machinery.
