Controller – P3
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare and coordinate monthly MEC reporting across few entities, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial results
Review trial balances, identifying and resolving discrepancies or accounting issues
Analyze variances and trends, providing insightful commentary on financial performance
Consolidate financial data from multiple countries and ensure consistency with group reporting requirements
Audit & Compliance
Coordinate statutory and internal audits across the region, ensure timely completion and issue resolutions
Ensure compliance with local GAAP, IFRS standards, and JLL group accounting policies
Support implementation of audit recommendations and drive closure of audit findings
Maintain strong internal controls and drive continuous improvement in financial processes
Regional Coordination & Support
Partner across finance teams to ensure consistent application of accounting policies
Provide technical accounting guidance and support on complex transactions and accounting treatments
Coordinate with local teams on month-end close activities, ensuring deadlines are met
Support budgeting and forecasting processes at regional and country levels
Accounting Operations
Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounting transactions across regional entities
Drive standardization of accounting processes and systems across countries
Support implementation of system upgrades and process improvements and drive centralization opportunities
Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures documentation
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, or equivalent)
5+ years of post-qualification experience in the accounting and finance domain, with at least 3 years in a controller or senior accounting role
Experience managing multi-country financial operations
Proven experience coordinating external audits and managing audit relationships
Technical Skills & Core Competencies
Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Experience with consolidation and reporting systems
Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and challenging environment
Strong communication skills with ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence without direct authority
Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively across diverse markets
Problem-solving orientation with a continuous improvement mindset
