Job Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for accurate and timely typing, formatting, proofreading, and documentation of cardiology reports and clinical records, including ECG, Echo, TMT, Holter, Doppler, and other cardiac investigation reports.

Key Responsibilities:

- Type and prepare ECG, 2D Echo, TMT, Holter, Doppler and angiography reports as dictated by cardiologists.
- Transcribe doctors' dictations, consultation notes, and clinical correspondence.
- Verify patient details and investigation information before finalizing reports.
- Proofread reports for spelling, grammar, medical terminology, and formatting errors.
- Maintain accurate patient records in EMR/HIS.
- Ensure reports are completed and dispatched within the required turnaround time.
- Coordinate with cardiologists,



cardiology technicians, nurses, and MRD staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information.
- Handle corrections and revisions as instructed by the cardiologist.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of cardiology reports.

Qualification:

- Graduate preferred.
- Diploma or certification in Medical Transcription/Typing is an advantage.
